I don’t know what she was pointing at, but she was pointing a lot. Every time we take pictures of Sierra, it’s like discovering a new trait. This time: her undying curiosity.
The Line Between Seasons

Like the space between light and dark, the few weeks of early fall that we experience in Sioux Falls shows the razor thin barrier between life and death. The blooming of mums is balanced by the falling of leaves, producing colors at both ends of the spectrum – new growth and old disposal. Of course, I thought of that just now – the contrast of bright green grass and old brown leaves – and not at the time I shot these. I just wanted to take some pictures over lunch break. A quick metapost to welcome anyone who has been sent here via the VFXY Photoblog Community site. I applied for inclusion when I first started the site, and was lucky enough to get an e-mail yesterday that said I was fast-tracked to the site based on the quality of design and photography.
Given the quality of the sites featured on VFXY, it’s incredibly humbling.
